In a time of record-low unemployment where companies are competing to attract talent through ever-increasing benefits and perks, employers must not forget the importance of retention, which requires a bit more effort than an overflowing snack cabinet.
We analysed nearly 32 million employee survey responses from across 125 countries to truly understand what motivates employees to quit. In doing so, we found that telltale warning signs begin to emerge a full 9 months in advance of the departure date, most notably through falling engagement and loyalty to the company.
